Rare Voices Australia - Parliamentary Friends of Rare Diseases
Today, Bronte Sterk, Chair of the Board for FMDAA, was lucky enough to travel across to Canberra in order to attened the Rare Voices Australia reception, which saw launch "Parliamentary Friends of Rare Diseases". The event was well attended by patient support groups, rare disease patients, industry and Federal MPs.
Rare Voices Australia (RVA) is a national, not-for-profit organisation established in 2012 with a vision to be ‘the unified voice for ALL Australians living with a rare disease’. RVA is Australia’s national alliance advocating for those who live with a rare disease. RVA provides a strong common voice to promote health policy and a healthcare system that works for those with rare diseases.
FMDAA are very proud to support such a great organisation and the great work they do in the community.
